80's SEIWA guitar MIJ w/ Fralin pickups

500.00

Japanese guitar manufactured at the FujiGen Gakki factory in Japan sometime in the 80's. From what I know about SEIWA, they shared a lot of components and features (headstock shape) with Ibanez guitars from the same time. This was missing all the electronics so I put in 2 Fralin split-blade pickups and new CTS and Switchcraft components. This also received a fret dressing and is now playing and sounding amazing. It shows signs of heavy use, sporting several dents and dings in the finish and one poorly repaired chip near the neck joint. This is a perfect guitar for someone who wants the sound and playability of a high end instrument without the price tag.

25.5" scale length

Unbound, lacquered maple fretboard/neck

3 way switch, master volume and tone for 2 split-blade hum-cancelling pickups made by Lindy Fralin (http://www.fralinpickups.com/product/strat-split-blade/)

Demo video coming soon.
