Ardent Instruments is one person. Owner/operator/luthier Nick Romy's passion for music and dedicated DIY attitude drew them to the field of luthiery. A Bloomington native and alumnus of the IU Jacobs School of Music, they attended the Chicago School of Guitar Making and promptly moved to Chicago to work at Specimen Products. Now back in Bloomington, Nick brings to their workbench years of experience and love for the craft.
